The Fed's Plan to Bring Inflation Back Down to Normal
The price of gas is now back to sort of normal figures everywhere. It really does seem as if it's the price of housing that seems to be the issue here more than anything, because that has not budged. And I don't think what the Fed is trying to do is to engineer prices to fall back to where they were. That's not part of the plan. If you can get inflation back down towards 2% people can hold on to the raises they have.
