The biggest thing I want to have happen with my insurance coverage is that I waste it all. It's horrendously unfair to people who are self-employed, absolutely horrendously unfair. So if you get it through an employer, unfortunately, the way the system works is you are seen as a lower risk and therefore you get a cheaper premium. And so that notion of self-insuring came about through shopping for disability insurance outside of the context of a group rate.
