Is There a Mind-Independent Reality?

i think the easiest way to actually explain my view is to start with berkeley's view and then tweak it a little bit. Berkeley thinks what there is, what makes up reality, is the experiences that i've just been elaborating. He doesn't think things are, you know, the back side of me exists right now. It doesn't just cope into existence when i turn around,. Ah, and the question why, and god's answer has something to do with god. The way in which god plays a role for Berkely is actually the subject of debate.
