I lived in montreal when we had our first child, and i lived in a pretty rough neighborhood by montreal standards. We'd push her round in her stroller, and these, like, grizzled, wrecked old guys would look at her,. They just light up, and they'd come over andlie smile at her. It's so cool that you can sit back, because, of course, your child, in your family and in societyis immediately the centre of attention. Unless you're narcisistic, then you allow that to happen. And then you learn all sorts of really good things about other people, cause other people really like babies.
