Is There a Zero Optimal Stress?
I often got the impression from reading Pete that he believed the optimal amount of stress would be zero if you could somehow get there. I don't know that he ever said that, but it's just the way he talks about stress gives you the impression that he assumes that underneath what he's saying. And so as far as I could tell, that was never the goal to like live in a bubble or something like that. Like even Hanselier, he said, the only people that are free from stress are dead.
