How to Make a Union Work

I wanted to talk a bit also about sort of the the kinds of things that are necessary to get people to believe that a union can work. That's something an issue we read to make union fairly early on was keeping people motivated for the union and getting people wanting to be involved. One of the most common things you'll hear when trying to organize the union is people saying they don't want to risk their careers if you're in a more like professional environment. If you have a whole crew of 10 people all who are essential running the operations pushing for change suddenly you're gonna see things shifting a much different way, so building solidarity among people is important.
