The Importance of Fantasy in Porn Research
Porn is not a special case to be thought of separately from other forms of production or consumption. Porn contributes has contributed to our sense of possibilities and that is surely one of the ways in which we are less repressed. There are complex relations between representation, reality and fantasy. These complexities of the relations between the self and the worlds of imagination require more than scaremongering like all forms of cultural production.
