Luke 927 - Is That a Reference to John?

Elder MacConkey: Jesus said on one occasion that there be some standing here which shall not taste of death till they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom. And ever since then, I believe that followers of Jesus have been anticipating that event, especially when there's political discontent or war or great tumult or persecution. So with that, the meaning of Luke 927 is that the some standing here that we'll see the Kingdom of God is a reference to John. There are no other known instances of translation during the Christian era.
