I'm from Canada and I've spent a lot of time, you know, learning about the differences between US and Canadian settler colonialism. It's an incorporated form of settler power that actually reinforces the political legitimacy of the United States through the federal state. The courts have been by far the most significant venue for making claims against Canada. This is not a liberal decision as we've talked about prior on the court. And it's just very like saving some trans people's asses right now because it plainly is something that is so obvious to them.
