Binary thinking and the positive imagination forces us to only look at issues in terms of traitors and conspiracies. There are many ways for history to play out other than the creation of new nation states. The argument that Bangladesh was inevitable because of geography holds no merit. We're not allowed to discuss those. Instead we're taught to believe that Bengalis always hated us. Well here are Bengalis after the creation of Bangladesh shouting Pakistan's in the bar when Zulfakar Ali Bhutto visited Dhaka in 1974.
