The Reward Process Is What Drives Behavior

The willpower part of our brain is the weakest from an evolutionary standpoint. And so if I wanted to stop eating donuts, it probably would have been challenging to do so because my brain would be like, why are you doing that? These days pretty good. But we haven't actually paid attention to the reward process itself. That's not how things are set up. All of us are looking for peace. We're all peace seekers.
