Dean Ian: Dostoevsky and Nietzsche's approach to nihilism isn't actually contradictory. But there is an idea that one will get you somewhere, the other might only lead to your ruin or disillusionment. Dean Ian: I think if I don't think his prescription can like save or change the course of history or society or culture, I think Nietzsche has the better handle on what hope the West has for the future.
