The Difficulty of Renunciation

Protestants don't do this well, that reflex to see reform as productive and to see waiting as passive. And I think we need to enter that moment. It's actually a shaping of what is the whole trajectory of a person's life. We can end up fixing things and leaving people out if we move into reform before we do that work.
