Why Liberals Should Value Sanctity More
Liberal defence of sanctity boils down to a harmor fair, fairness defence. If you're licking an ice cream cone or urinating in public then that's doing like psychological harm to them. They're uncomfortable. And so maybe that is a good reason. So i don't think that's a good normative argument for why anybody should value sanctity. But he here are some better ones. A, ah, people, human beings, the way we are, we crave meaning. We tend to infuse meaning in things. We need groups. We thrive in groups.
