The Lord Is Watching Over Them for Disaster and Not for Good
The women are the primary worshipers, but they have the complete support and approval of their husbands. Jeremiah responds by presenting what the Book of Jeremiah throughout has given as the orthodox reading of Judas history. The Queen of Heaven is Astrath, also associated with Ishtar of the Babylonians. It is on account of this that judgment has come upon them, far from being the good old days.
