Rakmaninoff: A Romantic Composer

Rakmaninoff was a man who suffered from depression his whole life. He very quickly became old-fashioned with the arrival of modernism and especially 12-ton techniques in the 20s. And he certainly modified his style, I think quite quitequite a lot. But the whole aesthetic aspect of it still remains the same. It's a romantic composer. Just for the audience, it's not intellectual at all.
