I Think It Was a Bad Episode, but It's Come and Gone

I think it did lasting damage to the reputation of the intelligence services in the west. We had absolutely no concept of the extent to which it might be true and where this would lead. All people are potentially vulnerable to that sort of modus operandi a through all sorts of weaknesses of character, narcosistic characters and so on. I don't think it was particularly, i mean, it wasa, it was a bad episode, but it has sort of come and gone.
