In the early 90s, it was not cool to study software engineering. So you actually dive into one of the subjects that I was scared to death of in college which was accounting and finance. One of the things I noticed about COOs or second-in-command is they often run varying business areas. We're really kind of yin and yang to the CEO. In many companies, it's really just based on what the CEO and the CEO are good at.
