The Clean Water Act and the Supreme Court's New Ruling in Ropanos
Jay Parini: The supreme court has said exactly that many times, most recently in a decision called ropanos. But just as anthony kennedy is gone, conservatives hated his opinion in that case and sacket this new case. He says the Supreme Court will use too artificially narrow the scope of the clean water act to exclude bogs, marshes, wet lands. Parini: And we're probably going to lose a huge amount of byo diversity, because five or six justices on the supreme court hate the environment.
