I was very sorry to what happened to Salman Rushdie, I felt an urge to write about it. Well, I am also under the bodyguard protection government protection for the last 15 years. You have to protect the writer in spite of himself. It's a shame that that's a paradox that people seem increasingly to be less willing to tolerate and understand. My duty is to understand even the bad guy, while in novel it looks like a legitimization of the bad guy. While outside of the novel, I should of course, as a normal person ethically condemn this.
