What's Happened to the Water Vapor Cloud in the Stratosphere?

Satellite measurement suggests around 100-250 tehrograms or 100 million tons of water. That's roughly a couple of days, the amount of water discharged by the Amazon River in 10 minutes. This perturbation of water in the stratosphere has never been seen before in the satellite era. It ended up more than 10 kilometers above our heads.
