Women who knew a co worker who was dying from breast cancer were the most likely to skip their mamograms. Seeing a colleague suff may have frightened these women from obtaining information about their own health. If a woman had a more aggressive case of breast cancer, her colleagues were the ones who were more likely to skip the screening.
