The Chinese Don't Want to War
The US constantly pushing for war is pathological in the sense that it's against our like, real, politic interests. If you're just strictly concerned, you can take morality completely out of the question. But they still happen anyway because our government is captive to the military industrial complex. That's not true of Beijing. And so for that reason, they don't want to war.
