The Different Types of Polymers
High density polyethylene or HDPE is the kind that's tougher. The molecules not only pack in closely next to each other, but actually form bonds across one another. So if you have the kind of superglue that doesn't melt when you heat it up, don't soften at all, that's probably got a lot of cross-link polymers going on.
