The Fruit Is Singular

This is the thing that it is singular also, the fruit, not the fruits. That's because you get all of these things in the one person of Jesus Christ. Once you are placed in Christ, the spirit works this fruit out of you. The contrast here is what you do as works under the law and what the spirit produces as fruit as someone who is baptized into Christ.
