Working for yourself sometimes paradoxically, provides less flexibility and diminishes your ability to only work when you want to. Your output directly affects your revenue, unless you've set up something entirely passive, in which case, please call me. Some people will almost certainly thrive from that sense of importance. Others will be surprised by it and find it jarring. And i think if we're going to promote the merits of working for yourself, we have to do so honestly and acknowledge the pitfalls. Because sometimes king for yourself is a breeze, but most of the time it is objectively more challenging and more of a roller coaster than having a nine to five is.
