The Origins of the Space Engineer

"I grew up in the Air Cape Canaveral. My dad was a rocket scientist, he worked on the Air Force Titan motor," Mark O'Mara says. "My best friend was a nuclear physicist, and we were hanging drywall for $3.50 an hour" He went to work at Morton thigh call when nobody else would hire him because it paid $12.14 per hour. The company built solid rocket motors with chemical and salt; they still do today.
