Introduction

Laura Koonzberg's interview with the Prime Minister was just on BBC One at 8.30 because of the London Marathon. We will chat to Laura about the interview and get her analysis - we'll hear the whole thing. There were kind of four news stories that came out of it, including Liz Truss saying she could have laid the ground better ahead of the mini-budget by Quasi Quarteng a few weeks ago. The fact that the 45p rate cutting the top rate of tax wasn't discussed with the cabinet. And also the Prime Minister made it very clear that it was the chancellor's decision.
