How to Test the AI Routine?

There are many tools in this area. The most popular one is Jmeter but there's also one inside Visual Studio Enterprise. I wanted to just touch on testing of AI routine. It's not necessarily deterministic. How can we approach testing in these scenarios? So first of all I recommend to separate this algorithm, this machine learning, heuristic algorithms from the rest of the system.
