The global north and cap succeed in depoliticizing this new iteration of imperial global economics by portraying a system that prioritized particular interests. I think there's an important analogy with the growing role of central banks within domestic te society's right, where there's a similar kind of depoliticiation of economic ons. One real, i think, shortcoming or limit around the new international economic order was also its preoccupation with the question of trade. The world bank is to say that these are spaces and sits of ex technical experts, and that we are the best positioned to provide economic policy for the international order.
