The first teddy bear was from Morris McTum, a Brooklyn candy shop owner. A siren in ancient Greek mythology was actually used to infatuate sailors and get their attention. Have you ever heard a Starbucks jingle? They don't have one too. Tim Hortons has one always fresh, always. The theory goes that because they're using the symbol of the siren, they don't even need the jingle.
