The Scarcity of Bad Jokes at the End of the Show

We finished every single podcast off with a joke since September 2016. And we've now done, well, it's 138 was the episode number that we did our first joke. So you can do the maths and work out. We've done quite a few bad jokes, dad jokes, puns. I wonder, for our audience, why do they find that sort of amusing or complex?
