The Role of Mechanism of Action in Drug Development

i see resistance regularly from researchers not necessarily well there's one group that thinks like this whole rigorous FDA process isn't good enough. I think about it from a public policy perspective which is my background right and so if you told me that you have a brand new drug that was developed in a lab that nobody has ever seen or tried or tested before yeah i would say yes we should give preference to the drugs that we know a hell of a lot about.
