The Indonesian Government's Own Interest in a Development Project in South Halmara
This was actually not an auction for ownership rights. It was a proposed auction for an interest in the development rights for a hotel project on these idyllic little islands of South Halmara. The actual shareholders are not clear. There's rumors about Russian interests because there's a prominent Russian presence in Bali, as anybody who's ever been to Bali would know. Can't swing a dead cat with a hidden one.
