Sam Rowan: I was curious about whether there is some kind of an effect of these extreme weather events on on politics or on society. He says he couldn't find any evidence that there's one in the literature. As has suggests, there is at least some reason to expect public opinion to move, but that does not necessarily mean policy will follow.
