The national archives just made this letter a public. There was a long back and forth over the course of 20 21 between the archives and trump's legal team about getting materials back from him after he left office. We also learned that among the 15 or so boxes that the national archives were covered in january, there were more than 700 pages of classified material. This is stuff like code word material, stuff that, if made public, could put spies lives in danger. So this is highly sensitive stuff, and it was sitting at marlago.
