The Importance of Having a Plan to Get Out of Jail

If you discharge a firearm and harm somebody in self-defense, I'm going to jail. Many people who carry a gun have a narrative in their head where they're the good guy  and everything turns out perfectly. People should abandon that ridiculous narrative. If you shoot someone in self defense, it is not always going to be immediately evident that it was a self defense case. It's frequently going to be cloudy. So, so if you carry a gun and you get it out or show it to someone or shoot someone with it, you should have a plan that you have already created for how you get out of jail and get into my office.
