Is There a Lot of Points of Reference for Dance in Musicals?
There's a coordination to that as well as the stuff that's in abstracted space, like Louisa's song, Surface Pressure. I thought at first was pretty distracting because we're just not used to it. There just are not a lot of points of reference for this. Even thinking about more modern ones like Milana and Frozen, the characters are walking and singing or they're sailing and singing.
