Is There a Formula to Creativity?

i know lots of people who think that i am just not creative. And in fact, this is exactly what i dealt with for a very long time. It wasn't until i read the book steel like an artist, by auston cleon, which i know i've mentioned here before. But this is really like a tipping point type book for me,. In that book, austin cleon talks about how creativity is simpl connecting dots. So if i want to create better outputs, i just need to collect better inputs.
