The Identity of Identity Indifference
The concept usually defined as the unity of features of what it subsumes was rather from the first, a product of dialectical thinking in which each thing is what it is only by becoming what it is not. In Hagel and in the way that we read Hagel, there's not this destination where something becomes what it wasn't at the beginning. This turns the dialectic into a dualism. And so it's, and it's subtle, but it's here.
