Automate Your Keyboard With Federated Learning
Federated learning is a privacy enhancing technique that allows Google to improve machine learning models without sending any raw data to Google servers. Some information stays on your phone and other information is sent back to Google every time you use it. It works from the principle that there's a single central model which controls sort of how things work overall in a general sense. The system can automatically update millions of mobile phones for example to have their keyboards work in a different way from moment to moment and from day to day.
