Is the Data Engineer Responsible for Data Labelling for Machine Learning?
The labelling process for machine learning looks very similar to what would historically be considered like a traditional data engineering pipe line. The transformation process in this case is now gaided by humans looking at data and evaluating it. It's not really on data engineers to go through the labelling process. And if something is wrong, instead of editing your pipe line so it's correcting the mistake, you have to coach human experts who are trying to extract their brain from that data.
