The Future of Electronics - Gordon Moore's Law

In 1965 Gordon Moore predicted that by 1975 the number of components per integrated circuit for minimum cost will be 65,000. The world of electronics from computers to military and consumer products was increasingly going digital thanks to semiconductor Planner fabrication process. It has been said that if in 1965 you had looked into the future using any traditional predictive tool none would have been as effective a prognosticator than Moore's law.
