The Difference Between Racism in the Singular and the Plural
"When the hood comes off, explores ways that young people are using technologies to engage in acts of resistance," she says. "They're not waiting for there to be a program that decides, oh, this is how we're gonna respond to online racism and instead of that, they're doing it themselves." In your opinion, should we speak of racism in the singular or racism in the plural? What's the difference between how we refer to the phenomenon?
