The Right Position Is Punishment, Not Retribution
i kind of backed out from committing completely to the sort of free will sceptical position that i had broadly been writing in favour of, for allof the beast. It just seems like, what does it mean to believe in something that i violate every single moment of the day in the way that i do? But i totally share you're a lot of your sort of hostility to compatiblism. It comes down ultimately to the moral responsibility.
