The E Path to Developer Engagement Is a Good One, I Think
Jeff Smith: I've seen this competing war from two ends of a spectrum in the software industry. One is what I'll call the storytelling into the spectrum and the other is the problem solving, he says. At one end of the spectrum, you have a storyteller who's telling BS stories that are essentially not based in reality or truth, according to Smith. But as the middle is problem solving, it actually helps people move closer to creating sustainable value for their lives.Smith: My whole life mission is helping good software professionals first realize that they're never going to have meaning in life if they don't discover their potential.
