The Importance of Water in Life
I have a huge passion for flyfishing, I became chairman of the oldest flyfishing club in England. And I suddenly realized that here was two and a half miles of river in Hertfordshire that for 185 years a grip of men and women with an interest in flyfishing had looked after and preserved it. But 185 years later that river was about to die. It was suffering from utrification. It had become nothing more than a stagnant pond. And this is a chalk stream one of the rarest ecosystems on the planet. So just give us a sense of what your life is like at the moment when it seems to me every time I turn the radio to the telly
