The film has a similar kind of plot to never let me go in that the world is set up so that a certain group of people have to suffer. I'm enough of utilitarian to say, well, the gods have set up this really unpleasant situation but you know, if that's the way to protect humanity by sacrificing occasional teenager, well it goes. This happens in a real world all the time. It's like the world. Local farms that I justify my meat eating. Like, well, they wouldn't have existed if it weren't for this. That's right. They're for evolving to be tasty. You know, like he said, I respect the film for ending with the
