I slept in James Thurber's bed that night. I was very thrilled by this, as a matter of fact. It did make any difference at all. I mean, it's unbelievably hilarious. For laughing out loud, I don't think anyone comes close to him. And for him to continue to have this ability, we read a lot of Thurber before he went there.
