The Importance of Sound in Songwriting
I was always just trying to make the most mashed up sounds. And now I'm looking for more purity. The sounds that you're pursuing change from era to era, sometimes record to record. So maybe that's part of it. Like we hear like all the same instruments and the same stuff, but we are different. Oh, it's our perspective and perception of things change. And what we want out there. What kind of sounds you want to coax.
